Do remember to bring along any referral forms, photo identification (e.g. NRIC/WP/Passport), and any prior X-Ray films or reports for a more accurate diagnosis.
No special preparation is needed for general x-ray screenings.
There should be no pain involved whilst performing an X-ray.
Generally, the amount of radiation you are exposed to during an X-ray is low.
Please consult your doctor if you are pregnant or unsure. An unborn baby may be affected by radiation. Your doctor will discuss other available alternatives with you.

Audiometry
An Audiometry test is a hearing test that assesses your ability to hear sounds at different frequencies and intensities. It can be used to monitor a person’s hearing abilities over time.
During the test, you will wear a headset and hear various sounds at different frequencies and intensities. A hearing test is painless and can be completed within 20 mins.
FAQ
NID refers to a permanent loss of hearing sensitivity. NID can lead to communication difficulties and adversely impact the quality of life.
It is recommended that you avoid any exposure to loud noises at least 16 hours before your appointment.

Ultrasound is an imaging modality that uses high-frequency sound waves to produce images of structures within your body. These images can provide valuable information to guide screening, diagnoses and management of various diseases and conditions.
FAQ
We suggest wearing a loose-fitting top and bottom. Also, refrain from applying body lotion & powders or wearing metallic objects such as jewellery and watches as it might affect the ultrasound scan. Prior fasting or drinking of plain water may be required. We will advise on the necessary preparation needed after confirmation of your appointment.
